Lanson Vintage Collection Champagne 1996 is a blend of 48% Chardonnay and 52% Pinot Noir. Lanson has released a special collection of truly remarkable fine vintage champagnes, each converted bottle has been carefully curated by Hervé Dantan the Chef des Caves since 2015. Every bottle in this vintage collection is a combination of the finest grapes from a single vintage year, which undergo extensive lees ageing, yet retain the Lanson spirit of Champagnes that are fruity, powerful, crisp and elegant.
Tasting Note:
Beautifully developed with aromas of toasted nuts, green apples, stones fruits and shortbread. On the palate steely minerality, yeast and ripe peaches. The finish is intense and very persistent.
