France: Benjamin Tallandier

After finishing winemaking school in 2004, he met natural winemaker Jean-Baptiste Senat and began working with him in his cellar. He was influenced by Senat’s ideas and techniques. Back to his homeland, the Minervois, Benjamin works on 9.5 hectares all by hand and is fully Ecocert certified. His winemaking style diverges from the typical concentrated and alcoholic Minervois wines. They are instead towards freshness, lighter body, yet keeping the flavour concentration.
