Wine Description:
The Grandes Terres comes from a family estate located in the southern part of the Bordeaux wine region, managed by the Girotti family. The vineyard, spanning 8 hectares, is situated in the heart of the commune of Verdelais, with clay-limestone soils on the right bank of the Garonne River. It benefits from optimal sunshine thanks to its south-facing exposure, as well as a microclimate perfectly suited to Sémillon, the dominant grape in this blend.
Tasting Note:
Beneath its golden-yellow hue, the nose reveals aromas of white flowers and candied fruit. A beautiful balance exists between the sweetness and roundness of exotic fruits, and the freshness and vibrancy of citrus and apricot. A modern and trendy sweet wine, light and airy.
