Wine Description:
Château du Beau Vallon is a renowned wine producer located in the Saint-Émilion appellation of Bordeaux, France. The history of this estate dates back to the 18th century when it was owned by the Marquis de Mons. The current owners, the Lurton family, acquired the property in 2001 and have since then been producing some of the finest wines in the region.
The vineyards of Château du Beau Vallon are spread over 22 hectares and are planted with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The soil is predominantly clay-limestone, which is ideal for producing wines with great structure and complexity. The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted before being fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Tasting Note:
A very fruity, silky, elegant and round wine made from 30-year-old vines, grown on clay and limestone soils in the north-west flank of Saint-Emilion. The harvest is entirely carried out by hand before traditional ageing in oak barrels. Brilliant in colour, this wine offers a soft yet vibrant palate, showcasing maturity with smooth tannins and a ready-to-drink finish. The nose reveals enticing aromas of tobacco and chocolate, while the palate delivers flavours of red fruits and cherry.
