Tasting Note:
A powerful Auslese, which means "selection." Only very ripe and noble grapes were chosen for this full-bodied wine. Its expressive fruit and enormous length are typical for a Saar Riesling.
This wine is rich, complex and multi layered with an exceptional ageing potential of several decades. The floral and spicy notes, typical for the Ockfener Bockstein vineyard, are reminiscent of minerality, wild flowers and citrus flavors.
