Tasting Note:
It was our yearning to create a Bordeaux Blend, and so nine years ago the dream came a step closer to reality when we planted the classic ingredients – Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Slowly these vineyards matured into steady reliable vines with concentrated fruit.
By the 2001 vintage they had reached such an age that the quality warranted new barrels for maturation. Eighteen months of barrel maturation ticked by – a further 18 months of bottle maturation before release – our 10 years old dream finally came true. Our patience rewarded in this “Work of Time”.
