Wine Description:

Grumarello takes its name from the historic vineyard on the estate, originally called “vigna Grumarello,” which in the past was vinified from a single vineyard. Carmignano Riserva was subsequently transformed thanks to the new blend and is produced only in the best vintages. The soils of Grumarello are dominated by the geological formation of Macigno, a sandstone characteristic of Tuscany of relatively recent origin.

Tasting Note:

Appearance: The wine has a deep ruby red color.

Aroma: The nose is fragrant, with notes of sweet violet, plum, and pleasant, well-integrated hints of vanilla.

Palate: The palate is rich and persuasive, with enveloping tannins.
