Tasting Note:
The first nose expresses aromas of roasting, coffee, but also balsamic. It is a mineral aromatic expression of a late cold maturity. At the opening, the more typical character of Sangiovese takes over and reveals menthol, green olives and currant berries. The palate, although fruity and tasty on the attack, presents a firm and chiseled tannic structure which extends to the finish. Aromas of subtle humus and warm earth ennoble the tasting.
