Wine Description:
Sourced from the higher Plateau Vineyard in Hawkes Bay, where cooler conditions sharpen Pinot’s character. Destemmed into open and closed tanks, hand-plunged and gently worked for balance. A mix of wild and cultured yeasts, natural malolactic in barrel and nine months in French oak, 15% new and 22% second fill, adds depth and serious character
Tasting Note:
Cherry, berry and spice lifted by sweet florals. The palate is rich yet vibrant, silky in texture and drawn out to a long, moorish finish. A Pinot Noir that speaks with quiet confidence.
