From the pioneering vision of a group of men who planned to leverage the Dão region and its wines to levels never before achieved, on May 21, 1966, UDACA – União das Adegas Cooperativas do Dão was born.Currently, UDACA, with its Associated Wineries, represents almost 60% of the production of Dão wines which, together with the numerous awards and participation in events, reflects UDACA as one of the main voices of Dão and Beira Alta.
